Recall Question

So my odometer stopped working and I went to get it fixed, and the guy whos gonna fix it told me today he found a recall only on 95 Cobras about the gauge cluster that said while the speedo read in mph the odometer actually read in kilometers and there was a recall on this from Ford. Anyone know about this or ever heard of this?

i have never heard of a recall but the gears do strip out very easily. late model restoration has them for $40.

My odometer has died twice. The first time it was the gear. Now the electric motor that runs it only works intermittently. It's frustrating, but it keeps the mileage lower on my car.
