Well yesterday I attempted to drop my transmission to replace the throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and rear main seal. Little did i know that i have to drop the Passenger side header because I'm running BBK Longtubes. What a design flaw. So, I got super frustrated and just went ahead and Ordered a QA1 Tubular K. I've heard a lot of very mixed opinions on these pieces and will be updating you guys on my experience with them. Any heads up that you guys would like to offer me with this mission?

I hope it works out for ya Hulk. If I run into the same issues on my Cobra I'm going to be upset. Hopefully since I have a 5.0 it might not cause the same amount of problems....

Just makes for alot more Clearence . But you'll be dropping your k member anyways to do the swap on 4.6 cars I usually use locking header bolts car there hard to access .. The k member won't change how tight the motor is to the shock towers . But it really helps with alot of jobs on the modular cars and frees up alot of space especially for the starter not to mention weight savings . If you don't have access to a lift I can tell you the easiest way to geter done

Yea, I've never been underneath a 5.0 in an SN95 but I Hope you don't. I was so pissed off. I just noticed your in Chesapeake. I used to be stationed in Norfolk. I liked that area a lot. Very Pretty.

I've read up a lot on the swap...Seems pretty straight forward as per Maximum Motorsports Removal instructions.

Yeah. Esp since I just had my exhaust done recently and would have just done the clutch and all during that time.

Very nice, I work at NOB (which is where I am at right now). When were you here?

I pulled my tranmission to replace the clutch.

Then I replaced every single part on the entire car, mini-tubbed it, built a new motor, got a new transmission, changed out the entire interior, added 200 pounds of sound deadener, and spent $20K.

Paul.
