For headlights, i have these. I am sure you can find these cheaper if you look harder. But these are what i have. They have great optics as is. but i loved the projector look and wanted the projector look and use.

These corner lights

And this is the projector kit i am using

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-Mini-H1...DIY-/251938317852?hash=item3aa8b1a61c&vxp=mtr

and i am using this harness

http://www.ebay.com/itm/35W-12V-HID...ess-/321185527345?hash=item4ac8263631&vxp=mtr

After you get these items. you need ballasts. All ballast are the same as far as the connector is concerned. I would get 35 watt ballasts. also I got the 4300k and 6000k H1 HID bulbs as well. the projector seems to make the lighting look blub. so i ran 4300k temp bulbs and they looked pretty close to new factory color bulbs.
Amazing man, you have just helped so many people you don't even know it lol I know I have been wanting to take on this project myself but this parts list just made it more possible.

I used this harness as I can swap the two realys if the low beam one has an issue. Also they are readily available at parts stores for replaement. I havent seen that singe rectangular relay anywhere if you need to replace it.

I used miromoto mini H1 projectors from the retrofit source and a ddm H1 hid kit. I'll put up some pics when I get everything finished up.

I think this is a must do mod for any 94-04 mustang. The lights just suck so bad in stock form.

That more helpful? The hardest part of it is getting the light apart.

YESSS...That is very helpful... thanks.. What about aiming the light? and wiring the bixenon wires..?
Aiming is done with the factory adjustment. All you do with the projector is level the cut off line. If you get a harness like I posted you wire those two wires coming off the projector to the plug that gets power when you switch on the high beams. That activates a solenoid that pulls the cutoff shield down an allows all the light out.

Yea the projector is fixed to the headlight bucket. You do have to place the headlight into the car with the projector firmly tight into the housing so you can adjust to make sure the projectors is level. Once the projector is level, pull the headlight back out and tighten the rest of the way.

As far as the wiring goes. The projector has a positive and a negative coming off of it that goes to a connector. Some say to drill another hole into the back of the bucket. I just ran the positive and negative wire outside up along the projector and have it sandwiched between where the projector fixes to the light. That connectors happens to be the matching female connector to the hi/low hid bixenon harness.

You're missing a fatter silicone washer there. The silicone washer you have goes on the outside of the headlight. The fatter one has a bevelled edge to it so it allows the projector to sit flush with the headlight bucket

That's not my picture just one I borrowed off the Google. I didn't use the fat washer, not enough threads were left even after grinding down the bulb mount. The small one worked good for me.

Red demon eyes + halos.

What the output in fog looks like.

I had enough thread with the thick washer but just barely. Running Morimoto mini h1 6.0 with their previous generation 4300k 3five bulbs on 55w ballasts and their previous style of halos which are $15 a pair in their closeout section (3five bulbs are also cheap in there). Cob halos have a bad reputation and I'm no exception, they're failing on me too so keep that in mind if you install some of their older ones. Also, the demon eyes are just a strip of red leds inside the shroud in my case.

If you wanna do your own research and see what's what and how it stacks up checkout hidplanet. com. That's theretrofitsource's own forum and it covers anything and everything to do with retrofits.

Strange... I had enough thread and then some....

I probably could have used it but I was worried about cracking the housing. The smaller one sealed up the hole just fine from what I can see. Guess I'll find out during the next storm....

Wow, how did I miss this one. I can really use lights like that. My HIDs suck. The light pattern is broken up. Would really come in handy for those dark night events. Putting this on the to do list.

So I'd have to reinstall the headlights to level out the projectors then remove again to tighten it all up?

Jesus, taking out the lights was hard enough, but to do it another time I don't know... Is there any other way of making sure the projector is level? Maybe connecting the light to a spare battery?

you could do that, but doing it that way i had said, it doesnt take that much more time than you would think. But the light and projectors fit flush and will only need to rely on the headlight bucket itself to make sure the lights are aimed correctly.

Im liking your projector etching you posted in you build thread.

Has anyone retrofitted Morimoto Mini D2S projectors into sn95 lights? They seem a little to big but I have a set of those projectors and would like to use them instead of buying new ones.
