I feel less special now. I shall run to my room and cry.

I just hope the OP doesn't think I'm a ricer for having a track wing on the black car from time to time.

. Clear? Can anyone tell me what a 4G63 is? A 6G72? A B16A? A KF-ZE? A 2JZDETT? No, you wouldn't, not without googling it, because you're so narrowminded that you think Mustangs are the shit. .

Psh I'm so narrow minded that I build Subarus and Volvos besides Mustangs. Don't act like your shit don't stink and people will be more civil.

^^G36, out of curiosity, I looked at your build thread. What numbers is that thing putting down? Sounds amazing for a V6, any 1/4 mile times too? Not going to lie, after hearing your car, I have even more respect for the V6 community, that thing sounds deadly!

Numbers aren't crazy. Just 205/226, however it was 110* and 30% humidity, my air intake temp was 140 haha.

Planning on the long tubes and chopping out the cats to get a little more, then I might tune for 93 octane, that was on 87. Worst case scenario I won't like how it sounds without cats and I'll just put the SLP high flow ones in. Everybody wins :)

I appreciate the compliments man! No track times yet, waiting to get the odds and ends worked out

I think you are. What now.

Now I'm double sad.

you're so ricer it makes my soul cry every time I see pictures of it =P

Did you ever see it when I first put the Y2K R hood on? It was off a black Cobra, and I didn't have time to paint it right away. White car, black hood, blue seats.... YIKES!! Talk about ricer!

At least it didn't bolt up the wing I picked up as well. I traded a new set of '03 Cobra seats (it was 2004, so they were mint still) for '99 Cobra seats, that hood and an R wing.

We won't talk about the track wing for the black car yet. LOL

I'm not sure that the OP is here, but I'll put this here anyway...

Let me impart some wisdom. When joining a faceless community full of people that you don't know and who don't know you, the first and most effective thing to do is introduce yourself humbly and treat people with respect. The latter of those two things is what this forum is and should be based upon.

Admittedly, there are a lot of members here who lack the knowledge and experience of other members who have, perhaps, had more time in "the game" than others. However, we offer this forum as a place where those members seeking knowledge can come and learn and be treated with respect. All that we ask in return is that same respect.

By joining our community you have provided yourself access to tutorials, expertise, friendship, or whatever else you may seek from the Mustang community as a whole. However, by immediately displaying a self-implicated sense of superiority on anyone who viewed your post, you have erased that respect that we ask for, and in return, may not receive the respect you believe you deserve.

None of us here on the forum know you, nor do you know us, and by making a blanket, vague judgement about "V8 owners" you ironically serve to reenforce the stereotype that follows the import, or domestic "non-V8" crowd. This is the reason you are being met with disrespect and inattentive ears (or eyes I suppose in this case). You obviously have things to learn about Mustang history, power, and suspension geometry, just as many of the other members on this forum do, including myself. However, I think you will find it much, MUCH more helpful to put down the know-it-all front and let yourself take advantage of the knowledge that a place such as this can provide.

Hopefully you won't take this as me being an arrogant prick, and rather see it for what it is.

^true, I respect anyone (like ReplicaR) who can get our crappy suspensions to out handle most imports on the road course. Not saying he's the only one, but I remember his car the easiest lol.
