tony i get what your trying to say. i used to have a lowered acura tl that looked great until i had to daily drive it to work then all the sudden the entire nose looked awful. the guys that are replying here must have to daily drive their cars to work and what not so they are not as concerned with appearance where as you obviously dont daily drive your mustang and probably show it so you are more detail oriented when it concerns paint and appearance. dont seem to be many guys on here that show there cars. just my $.02. not trying to add the the argument lol.

Seriously man what is wrong? Look back through that post and tell me where you were attacked? People are just quoting forrest gump "shit happens". You talk about butthurt but look back through the post and see who fits that description. I am not attacking you now please do not misunderstand me I am just trying to figure out where this post and the electronic cut-out post went soo wrong and got you so upset?

a few years ago i posted this same thread on an s10 forum that i use to be a huge part of. and the vibe was totally different and the members agreed that keeping your expensive exterior was imortant. never got shit back from people like ,well maybe you need more shit under the hood, or you need to learn how to enjoy driving and not care about looks type of shit, lol!

i honestly am just confused and annoyed more than "butthurt". so i guess scott its just the mentality of some folks on here can get tiring with the whole fuuk paint and lookin good just make dat sum bich fast all the time tends to be anoying sometimes. but 'm cool. my bad fellas..no hard feelings. ya cant change a whole forum to be like me, lmao! i sawwy :(

Tony, as stated, your car is obviously not your daily, however a number of us do daily our cars.

I do, 204k miles and going haha.

What they're getting at is stuff happens, and it will. Your post is helpful, because it has the potential to help from rocks, etc.

But say your next to a semi, and his tire blows, and smacks the front of your car (noting this example because it happened to my father while driving my sisters car)

As much as we try to prevent stuff, sometimes we just can't help what happens.

But not tailgating really does help with chips, etc. However, I just try to get ahead of everyone like I already said, because I don't like having anyone around me. I don't trust people on the road, texting while driving.

ahhh, finally, lmao! someone admits that not tailgating helps avoid rock chips! dude i'm not stupid...i know that if a meteor comes crashing down on your car or someone next to you decides to just randomly slam into the side of your car that your prolly gonna get some damage, lmao!

i'll try this: you guys all love and respect dans (95riosnake) car right? if you had a chance to drive it would you ride a semi truck with no mud flaps..ass? and if dan was in the car with you i bet he would politely ask you to back dafug off dudes ass cause anyone who has invested time and $ in their ride aint feelin the whole chipped up bumper. so this is really for those guys. if there is any left on here, lmao!

Right now, that ain't me, but it will be once I get the new paint haha.

I actually have pulled off the road because I was stuck behind a dump truck dropping all sorts of dust. that was not for me

i guess my joking response set you off tony. dude we get the point. i don't tailgate either and i do show my car a lot. but i'm not going to drive behind a slow person doing 45 just becuase i need to stay behind them 200 ft just in case they throw up a stone. I'm going to pass them and if a stone comes up then so be it. if the bumper gets to a point that it looks like poop, i'll just repaint it. this whole thread seems like common sense to me so i took a joking approach to it.

yet again in a thread you accuse the whole forum of being against you and your approach to modding a stang. i look at your car and see a store bought body kit with a color change and big wheels. We've seen that before, hell most of my friends have that with even wilder wheels/colors (69clark's for example). you make it seem that you are the only one doing this and we hate you for it. calm down.

ahhh, dude your giving me some fukin stomach pains, lol! ya throw out *****h comments, i reeply and ten fn people say im "butthurt" cause i reply to gay shit like this, lmao!

no one said anything about the approach to modding mustangs, more like how to keep paint looking decent.

of course my wheels and body kit are store bought! who the fukk makes their own wheels and body kits? i'm not a company or industry..

i think my car is different to say the least but i dont think you or anyone else has actually created an entire car, lol! so mr. innovator.....lets here what you have fabbed up and installed to your car that'ss not "store bought"! i'll be right here :)

from what i see it almost seems as though there is some kind of hidden anger towards the op maybe because of his exterior styling. what his original statement was, never really had anything to do with his body kit or wheels. am i the only one seeing this? i mean i dont see any reason to start flaming him or his car. i did'nt think that is what this forum was about guys. lets just relax and maybe a mod can cool some jets here lol. tony your thought on keeping the front bumper from being chipped is good but also can sometimes not be avoided. you already stated you know that. i can say that this is what i do as well. i dont tailgate for that reason also. good point

edit: i too would like to see mods from prokiller that were not store bought. not to be sarcastic but very interested

Justin, I'm ashamed. That's all you created.

I built molds for the entire car and pieced it together with carbon fiber, that I made myself out of carbon deposits I discovered deep within the earth.

apparently i couldn't get my point across. my point was this thread is obvious and i tried making a joke about tony's car in a lighthearted way. it wasn't taken that way. and of course i didn't expect you to make your own wheels you smarta$$.
