i definetly like to baby my parts on maintnence to try to make up for the abuse on the track. is royal purple as good as they say they are and should i use it. also if you have any suggestions, that would be great. I'm a young noob if this seems like a dumb question or something.

everyone will have their own opinion. i run royal purple in my engine, radiator, transmission, and diff. if i had a Tcase it would be in there too. its the ONLY oil proven to withstand abuse. i have used it in all my vehicles for 5 years and definatley well worth it.

check out www.royalpurple.com and see what everyone is saying, they also have many proven tests on their as well.

Do you have actual proof or just feel it's better than the rest? Just wondering. :)

I only trust factual data from independent third party sources.

I thought the drifting fad was over in the states. No?

have any links to both products independant testing

Independent testing is the only way I'd begin to believe any of these company's claims.

Rrrrrriiiiight. Let me guess, you're 17 and have Tokyo Drift on DVD. How close am I?

I don't know about you, but I've been on a road course my fair share of times, and I've not seen any drifting.

Paul.

not to be a prick or anything but we dont need that shit on this board.

I serioulsy dont think this guy would be saying he drifts if he didnt.

If he doesnt he needs to get a life, but its very possible he could.

actualy your pretty damn close and i bought and watched that movie for the first time after i got into drifting. none of this, im am ashamed of. also, the reason you havent seen it on a road corse is because they set very specific days for it. also many times drift days are held in gigantic parking lots and old airforce bases. so, ill put it this way, you may not see drifting as a real sport, but I do see it as a sport, the same way i see skate boarding, surfing, snowboarding, BMX biking and even figure skating (which i dont like, but it is an olympic sport). all these sports are based on tricks.
