Not much progress this summer as I was swamped with summer classes but updates since my last sig pic:
2000r hood
Smoothed mirrors in primer
s281 wing
skirtless anticipating SVO's
partial side exhaust
color matched cobra calipers

To be done:
Paint everything, SVO's, rear coilovers

Enjoy!

man, even in the middle of changes this car is beautiful. you need forward offset control arms though! it might minimally help you from trashing the front bumper, but your wheels just seem to sit back in the well. what kind of rise is that on the hood?

Do you know how much it would raise the front?

it doesn't raise the front. moving the front wheels forward would make the car rise for bumps/driveways/speedbumps sooner. imagine having a 3 foot splitter in the front, then moving the wheels 2 1/2 feet forward to keep from tearing it off on every little hill. does that help? I'm not great at explaining things that I already have a clear picture of in my head.

But it would rise the space between the bumper and the street. If your car is in a wedge profile (hopefully google helps me to do a right translation) and you move your front wheel forward, the space between the bumper and the street would raise. The axle would be at the same postions. You just change the angel of your car (more to a neutral axis) and that raise the space between your bumper and the street

thanks bud! yah I just noticed that recently lol I wonder if the other side looks that bad or if this is a result of my run in with the curb last fall. I dont think it'd raise the nose that much, those 2-3" forward would probably translate to like 1/2 an inch at the nose. It's a 3"

Thanks man! it's been a struggle but it's coming together ha, I'm trying to convince my mother to let me steal her envoy's fog lights!

You guys are both right basically haha it's not changing the height between wheel gap, but it's going to change the height at the nose of the car.

Is the hood purely cosmetic or do you need that big of a cowl to clear the engine bay?

Lookin good man, gonna look beefy with the SVOs. Btw you really love huge hoods lol

haha eh it works with my car! I can't envision a small hood flowing with my car

yes/no, i had to notch out the inside of the hood to clear my intake manifold so I guess so? I have edelbrock RPM 2 intake with a 1" spacer

Looks good but in the 5th pic is that your exhaust hanging there

lol yeah that's my temp side exhaust hanging out. looks like dookie =[

^^ i also thought it was going to look beefy, just like 95rios car. Awesome pics bro!

thanks man! she's a work in progress

Car looks mean man. Going to look even meaner once you get the SVO skirts on there. Is that a Boss Inc hood? I like the aggressive look
