Speed Cal Help

Well, my speed cal doesn't have the little red LED light lighting up when driving. It has power, and the fuse for the Cig lighter isn't bad. I just replaced the Speedo gear, because my speedo was notchy and not smooth. Well now the speedometer doesn't work. I noticed while going down my street, I pulled it back up the street, and took another car. Since it has snowed, I have not driven it. Do you think that its possible that the Speedo Gear isn't completely in the tranny? Any other thoughts?

Are all the connections down at the trans clean, and secure?

Yep all the connections are great. Ill make sure its got power again.

Mine wasn't powering up, so i got down there, unhooked everything, hooked it all back together, and it magically worked?

well it could be that, the connections seemed to slip, and i had to hold them in place to connect them.

I mean the wires were sliping out of the connection, not the actual connectors.

and you are tapped into your power point, or cig lighter, and it works normally?

cig lighter seems to work no prob.

yep, and those were fine too.

the unit has been known to be defective as well.

yeah, i called Dallas Mustang on Friday. I talked to justin. I have now done what he has said, I will try and call him tommorow and see if he can get me another underwarrenty.
