I found a great deal on a Carbonfiber S281 spoiler, just wondering how everything would think it would look on my car if left unpainted? thought it would be kind of unique

duh09 said:It'd be interesting. Carbon Fiber is one of those things that I like, but it has to be in the right amount. You'll need it somewhere else to tie it together IMHO. Check out dafizuck's (might be off on the name) build thread. It might be a few pages back but he put on a Carbon Fiber hood and painted the sides of it while leaving the middle piece exposed and it looked pretty sweet. It'd def tie the wing into everything.
duh09 said:The key is to not go overboard though. I think a Hood AND a Wipercowl would be too much. I also think that a plain Carbon Fiber hood without the sides painted is just too much. But this is all my personal preference. If you like it, go for it.

Notice the Carbon Fiber trim on the rear piece.
dafizuck always had a good idea for different things that still looked great. I wish he had finished it with the Saleen bumper and Roush side skirts, it would have looked so mean and def not fit the cookie-cutter cars you see.
