staggered wheel sizes?

hey guys and gals.. i was just wondering if anyone has done/seen a staggered wheel setup on our cars
(example, 18s in back, 17s in front... etc) some newer cars are coming out with that kind of setup, and
i was just curious to see if it had been done... thanks.

theres a guy here in Salina w/ a cobra that has 17" saleens up front, 18" saleens in back...it looks funky as hell

i think clarks car is the only exception to this rule....a 17" wheel looks was to small and paired with a 18" wheel really shows it off more ...looks bad to me....now if you go larger maybe it wont be so bad like clarks car but no 17's :nonono:

I agree w. Trav. Lightning Strucks CObra was staggered at first. 17 bullets in front and 18s in back. I think a 18/19 combo might look ok, but there is too much difference in the looks of a 17 and 18 inch wheel to make it look good.

I just ordered 17s for the front and 18s in the back. Will get some pics on when I get them mounted so you will have another car to see if you like it.

19/20 combo looks great but im a balanced person. except spring heights.

I'd wondered a/b this too. I bet it'd work on a SLAMMED sn95 w/o the skirts/wing (to make the car look slimmer, thus making the wheels look taller by comparison). Seems like you have to run 17s up front to get down 2" or more, but you can still clear 18" out back (maybe not 315s, though). I'd love to see some pix.

i just got 18 in front and 19 in back. i just made the wheel hight the same by making the front rubber higher and the back shorter so the wheels are the same hight
