My girlfriend accidentally hit my fuel shut off button or she stated she pressed it now my car dies on me wen I’m driving so far it’s done it three times it’ll jus stall out and die, and I mostly highway travel so this is a concern

It trips when lifted up, and re-activates the fuel pump when pushed back down.

Learned I’m thinking fuel filter car is a 96 and it’s prob never been touched

it is easy enough to pull the codes and see if anything shows up there. Even if the check engine light isn't on, it isn't uncommon for a previous owner to become frustrated enough by it to cover the light or pull it out.

My gauge cluster doesn’t match the car I’m assuming so check engine light neva comes on codes mostly read o2 sensors tho
