Did you get the sfc's on yet? I forget the install date and I'm too lazy to o back through the thread to find it lol ;)

Lol no not yet. They're supposed to get done sometime in November. My guys overbooked themselves during this month so they don't want to rush the job. Also the rear end issue was unexpected so that puts a kink in the plans which means the t1 is gonna be put on hold for maybe a couple months.

Hey buddy, remember me? I posted about us doing some track days together in 2017 over at CA Fords. I just joined here to give you a shout out. Your car looks sick as always!

Anyway, have you installed those SFCs yet? Fully recommend it. Stiffens up your race car chassis.

I'm serious about hitting up Laguna Seca and Thunderhill this new year. I'm located near(ish) to you. SF.

Keep in touch. Peace.

oh...yea and i got new tires up front. bridgestone potenza run flats in 275 35...i honestly do NOT like how thin the 35 is, so after some serious racing (and normal crap ca roads) im gonna try to find some 285 (yes 8 not 7) 40s for all 4 that wont break the bank

with the 275 40 nittos i could stick one finger between the fender and my tire with the 35s i can fit 2...you dont go from one to two...not for me at least...

i may swap the rears to the front since theyre still 40s

You'll get more sidewall flex with a bigger wide wall on those 9".

I think what B.mad is saying is, the sidewall on tires running 285/40 on a 9" wheel is going to flex. Typically you want to go 275/40 max on a 9" wide wheel. Although "racers" will run 255/40 or even 245/40 on a 9" for that stretched out look and better turn in.
