There's really not much to driving this car-it's harder to cut a light than anything else.voidfinger said:Wow, that seems to be a really mild set up. Must be the driver mod too lol. But i figure it didn't have 9:1 lol. I was thinking with all that work and no FI that it had to have a little compression. But seriously that is one strong running car there.
I'm for sure going to build my auto up and put it back in the car when i put n2o or FI on my cobra motor thats going in the car. Man thats would be crazy.
On the flip, is there any benifits to the cast mark VIII crank over the forged or gt crank? I know that the mark crank is lighter annd spins up faster but is there anything else? Just pm so we don't clog his thread.
You Mustang guys.....really make me laugh sometimes. :rollinglaugh:voidfinger said:thats cool, really though. what do you contribute a 12.1 to? the stall and gears?
Tuning has alot to do with it,as well as the total package.Everything has to be setup and tweaked to get as much of the power to the wheels as is possible. I see Mustang owners constantly changing their combination of parts,or buying the parts that don't make the others perform best, and then wonder why the car is slow. They're looking for that magical "holy grail" of a part that'll make the car alot faster-it's just not that simple.voidfinger said:well i'm glad you can find humor in what i'm saying. I'm just trying to figure out why your car with similar mods to a mustang that is lighter will not touch that time? thats all i'm trying to figure... i know it has a lot to do with the tuning also.
Depends on the vehicle in question. My car has the original suspension under it-all OEM Ford except for the Bilstein shocks.MustangMatt96GT said:yep suspension is key to ETs. First thing that is going on after my swap!
Best so far off footbraking has been a 1.680.xsoutherngun89x said:JL, what kind of 60" are u putting out?
