Car: 1997 Gt-5-speed
Been having this problem for a few weeks. My clutch pedal has had a lot of play in it lately so I've been using my firewall adjuster and pulling back on the clutch pedal. So I thought it was either the clutch position switch or the ignition switch, but I replaced the clutch switch and the ignition switch is fine. All ground wires, wires to starter, and fuses have been checked. I let the car sit for a couple days after I replaced the clutch switch and it started up like nothing was wrong. Drove it for a week and pulled back on the clutch pedal yesterday and now it won't start. I know my clutch cable is stretching, but why won't it start, what am I missing?
BTW, I can push the car and pop the clutch in gear and it will start and runs fine.
Help!
TIA,
Mike
