Supercharged, 6 speed 97 Cobra build

Well i had been searching for a long time to find pics of a SN95 cobra (94-98) with 17x4.5 race stars with 185x55x17 M&H Racemaster tires on it but never could, only New Edge and S197s. So i bought them and here is what they look like, Enjoy.
The rears are 15x8 WELD Alumastar 2.0 wheels with 5'BS with Mickey Thompson 26x10x15 ET Drags

I now have a poly race seat for the track, I dropped another 38lbs with it. Hopefully be heading back to Atco in a few weeks to MURDER my previous best of [email protected] I'm really hoping for a 11.60-11.70 then its back to the shop for bigger 60lb injectors and a tune. I'm.crossing my fingers for 500+WHP

Whent to Atco this past Friday. Ran a new best of 11.88 @122mph on a 1.95 60ft the clutch ia now starting to slip as evident in the 2-3/3-4 shifts but you can hear it better on the 3-4 shift.

From what I hear its just me running a bit rich at redline (11.5) and the small header leak. It causes a perfect air mix in the exhaust and the heat causes it to combust and BOOM! I shifted at 6800 well under the factory 7200 limit.

Nice what kinda tire are you running ? With a 1.7 or 1.6 you'd be deep in the 11's the mph is there . My car I've gone 10.80's and a best of a 10.77 of course the thing ****ed up that run so didn't get a slip . But my car only traps like 125-126 buy my sixty foots are alot quicker. I usually run et street slicks on standard cars and drag radials on autos. I actually ran my car on drag radials and it worked great for being a stick car this year.

Thanks guys. I picked up some Siemens Deka 60lb injectors that will be going on in a few weeks. I also got some new spark pligs and fuel filter because early January its back to the Dyno for a new 93 pump gas tune and a 110 race gas tune! Looking for 550on race gas and a 10 second time slip in the spring!
