One of the things I don't like is they don't blend with the exterior window trim. Maybe if there was a trim ring to help it transition from the fin bottoms to the trim piece. Just kind of thinking out loud...

i think they look a ton better than the louvers already on the market for the SN95s but i still dont like them. IMO the SN95s have a horrible quarter window for louvers they shape just doesnt allow for a nice flowing louver like the S197s can

+1 my point exactly... you have excellent skills, and those are definitely the best louvers i've seen for a sn95, but they just dont work... I will judge again once you paint them though.

I will have to get a pic, but I took alot of time to make sure the fins on the bottom are flush with the trim. I will take some up close pics another time but I think it looks fairly good but those pics do not show it.

Thanks for the constructive criticism and the compliments as well. That top radius is the only thing I would change on them at the moment but as I made the choice for the reason above. I am currently searching for the supplies to make a mold of it and then hopefully pull the full FG piece out. Now I just wish I still lived in phoenix as there are no FG suppliers local to me.........

those actually replace the glass? that's so sick. See how the edges of the louvers run parallel to the sides of the body? That's how I think yours should be as well.

those are pretty sweet I will admit although I am a little confuse. The top edge of my louvers is flush with the edge of the c-pillar as there is anywhere from .5"-3/4" between the glass and the metal c-pillar and that is where mined sit. Because of the rounded corner of the stock pillar it is not as flush as the one above but they are even. The front of it rises just infront of the metal piece that goes between the two pieces of glass and makes a gentle rise up. I am clear coating it right now and then I will need to wax the hell out of it before I can make the mold to recreat the piece in fiberglass. I will do another dry fit and take some closer pics of the edges that everyone is so concerned about.

I wasn't talking about your post on my last one but I see what you mean that they are parallel to the B-pillar. Did you mean b-pillar earlier or did you actually mean to make the blades follow the c-pillar? If I did that they would tend to completely block the view as they would face down and I really can't picture what those would look like.

so you would add the extra weight for the style on a track car but not a daily? That doesn't make any sence.

It would be helpfull to me if you could say what you don't like about them rather then just don't like them. Its constructive that way
