take a look at these quarter window louvers

the other louvers have no style man and 0% visability, they are just a bunch of straight lines and a solid piece of plastic. I knew there would be a large % that would hate them just because but don't care if you don't like them as they will be painted and installed no matter what. Just curious.

I didnt say I didnt like them! i just said most guys here like OEM style items! I like the look and think they will flow better with the car once they are painted... post of some pics when you paint them...

I plan on posting pics when they are painted and installed but it might be a little while. I have never made a mold before or cast anything so it will be a fun experiment..... gonna add a poll just to see how many people just hate louvers in general.

I'm on the fence painted might look ok. I like em on a s197 for sure same with racing stripes but for some reason on sn95s less is "usually" more

I think all of the aftermarket ones for the sn95's are pretty fugly, but these are not too bad. It would be interesting to see what they look like when painted. I'm all about standing out from the crowd. Good job!!!

just did a 2nd usb port for a buddy of mine a couple of weeks ago. It works perfectly there both for location and you because it is still 100% functional as not even a dime was small enough to get inside of it. A couple of quarters actually hides it perfectly. This 2nd one was down in the holder further then the one that was pictured.

If anyone else wants one let me know.

Thanks again, I am working on finishing the back right now. it does not have to be perfect but I wanted it nicer then it looked so I am taking some time on it. The one I am making now will be used as a plug for a fiberglass mold, and then I will make an exact replica %100 out of FG.

I have done alot of FG before but never a mold if anyone has any experience in it that can help(regardless of opinion on the product) I would love to get any opinions/help on the best way to go about it. If it does work out well, I will be able to make more then one set as well if anyone would be interested in one.

I did a little more shaping on them, mainly to help the molding process but now they are in a gloss black to help find any final flaws and to help see what they look like. Again the final product will be in DFG to match the car but now I can see how they will look and like it. If you look at the pic where you can see the whole car and look at the ground effects you can see that I have a MUSTANG \\\\\\ decal and I like the way it kinda mimics that design.

I don't think they look too bad but I think the top part of the slits should follow the line of the C pillar and not go horizontal.

i mean the top part. they go up and then take a left turn and go straight across, i think they should come around and follow the c pillar line.

ah gotcha. I was originally going to put a little sharper radius in those curves but I really wanted to cover up the front of the blade behind it and with the sharper turn it would not.
