How do you guys get your cameras to show the swirls in your paint. Ive tried and my camera just doesnt pick them up. Even when my car is dirty my cam makes it look clean.

Bright light and Macro mode up close?

Tripod and direct sunlight will help

Like mentioned make sure your camera is on Macro mode (little flower) even my 4.0MP canon point and shoot can pick them up, its gotta be the right lighting, best is in a garage with a light on the area and a pic from a slight angle, or sunlight works well too.

Haha, I love the fact my camera wont pick up swirls..
