That was a lot of $$ for those 2 seats anyway. You'll find a better deal.

Engine is 95% back together, still need the alternator installed and the lower ground harness tucked away. Also need to replace a broken connector that I have no clue how it got broken. 805A6E0A-6910-4BB5-951C-2B40B15BD244.jpeg12B56869-79AE-4EF2-9046-5246A1DDCC03.jpeg5BFF087E-C4D5-498D-A4B0-BC3864A7880A.jpeg

Here’s a second start after hooking up an ignition coil that I forgot to plug in. Is it just me or does it take longer than it should for the revs to come down

That does take a little too long, but with open headers your oxygen sensor data is being screwed up, and you may need a tune to correct how quickly the oxygen sensors respond now because they are further down stream. Get some exhaust on it and drive it a little and see what it does.

It’s only pulling a P0135 code for bank 1 sensor 1 but I need to drive it more which I will once I get the rest of the exhaust.
Here’s a driving video though!!!

So I’ve been driving the car around even with open headers so I could let the car go through the duty cycles while monitoring the readiness of the sensors and everything cleared! No check engine light! Though I do have a hanging rpm but I’m thinking that’s my IAC. The previous owner told me it was doing it to him when he had the car too so I know it has nothing to do with how I put it together.

Throwing an IAC on there is easy enough. Just a heads up though, the aftermarket valves don’t work very well. They are really hit and miss. Motorcraft is your best bet, but they are more expensive

Little bit of an update, got the AC working again and is ice cold, car runs great still though I did find a coolant leak coming from the rear passenger side intake manifold. I kinda had a feeling that might happen as I reused the crappy Dorman intake manifold from the old engine. I was just trying to get it up and running since the OEM Ford Performance we on back order but looks like I’ll be ordering one from eBay since that’s the only place you can get them right now.
I’ll be ordering that and the exhaust this week, I decided to go with Pypes M80 catback, o/r X pipe to finish off the exhaust. SLP with the X pipe would have been way too loud and I want something that sounds throaty. Once that is done the car will be put on hold for a few months until our wedding is done. Then it’ll be off to get the suspension completely reworked and then off to paint. I did make a decision in the seats and decided to go with the Corbeau Sportline RRS seats.1C03019D-C8F9-406B-8B96-96C1A6F135CE.jpegC1C16E44-F6DA-4861-98A0-2A4A08639D5B.jpeg73BB4B83-FBA5-4BEF-A012-224707AE8BE9.jpeg071F41DD-6596-45A6-9315-02F2DAC201B8.jpeg
