Good catch I totally overlooked the other side missing itMake sure you have both of those transmission alignment dowels installed.
Glad I could help. I’ve seen transmissions destroyed because of those being gone, and all sorts of vibration issues.Good catch I totally overlooked the other side missing it
I just realized the passenger side has the dowel still in it on the transmission, guess I’m going to have fun trying to extract thatGlad I could help. I’ve seen transmissions destroyed because of those being gone, and all sorts of vibration issues.
I actually just realized this intake is for the Bullitt I got the wrong damn intakeI had that same cai on my last 02 gt. Within a few weeks the air filter fell off in the fenderwell with the maf causing running issues. Took me a bit to figure it out lol. My advice is to get a proper reducer for the intake tube to maf. And if you have anything bigger than the stock tb you’ll need an adaptor for that as well.
BBKWhat headers are those?
Ah damnI actually just realized this intake is for the Bullitt I got the wrong damn intake
Cool. I had a set of them on my 2v and they fit pretty good. You have to pull the passenger side header to get the trans out in the car, but that’s typical. I don’t recall them hitting anywhere though.
I don’t but I’m going to the parts store later to get themIf you have the oem studs use those instead.
I’ve never installed headers on a 2v but I’ve read other people needing studs on certain primaries because of this or to make installation easier.I don’t but I’m going to the parts store later to get them
