First of all this is in regards to my fox mustang, not an sn. I would ask this question over on corral or something, however I have found the tech on these boards to be extremely above average.

Ok, I finally got around to doing my 5 lug conversion on my stang today. All went well and when I let the car off the jack stands and got it on the ground I noticed that my drivers side front sits approximately 3/8" lower than my passenger front. I thought that possibly the passenger side spring has some how rotated out of its correct position causing it to be raised. I disassembled the front passenger side and all looks well. I know that fox body mustangs are know to have this lean, however I feel that mine is more than average. Usually this wouldn't be such a big deal, however I find that my tire rubs on the drivers side occasionally, but only in the right condition. I have ruled out the possibility of springs, considering the ones in my car are only about 4 months old or so. I did the 5 lug conversion with 95 spindles. The rear has hardened axles from TMD. Any ideas as to why my car has such a noticeable lean? Any input is greatly appreciated. BTW, this is a perfect chance to whore a pic of the car with its new rims. Crappy cell phone pic, but better than nothing :)

did you check your spring ISOs? Maybe they are worn and causing one side to be lower than the other.

Also what springs do you have? about 2 months after i installed my sportline, i noticed my car sat a little un-even... i thought it was just my eye but after a little while it went away and leveled out (at least in my eyes, i never measured the car's height to find out)

whats the condition of your Springs Isolators?

you checked the spring's clocking you said. Check the isolators like hands said. If that all checks out good...they may just need to settle....take it out and drive the piss out of it.

The isolators are the origionals, however they appreared to be in good condition when I installed the new springs. I did check the clocking on the front and is setting perfect in the a arm. I did not however check the rear.... is there such thing as clocking the rear? maybe if the pass rear is clocked incorrectly it would be taller and causing the front driver to push down :dunno:. I rarely drive the car, maybe 60 miles a month at most. If its related to the springs settling then it will have to wait until the weather is better before I even consider pulling it out of the garage.

The rear springs most of the time have to be installed a certain way. If the pigtails do not face the same direction (rear I believe??) the car may not sit level. Put some miles on the car, hit a few potholes :wall: and see if the springs seat...
