The most popular argument at school seems to be; "If you're working on cars, you're not making sandwiches".

Haha. Sorry I had to laugh at that.

As funny as it was, I still stick to thinking that I'd rather have an attractive girl to talk to and wrench with at work all day then a sausage fest. But then again I don't work in that field.

I'm not sure if it has been said already, but you REALLY need some lowering springs. :D

And also, if you have any plans of ever making much power, do yourself a favor and swap in a PI motor. I got a low mileage one from a junkyard for $600, probably spend $200 on fluids and gaskets, and wish I would have done it years ago.

I always liked that color since it hit the showroom floor. Nice to see it getting some tlc and it will handle a lot better and be more enjoyable to drive with the new suspension parts with that many miles on the car.

Thanks!! I can't wait to finally see it lowered and not have to deal with the stupid 4x4 jokes anymore!

My rack and pinion is leaking really bad, so the oil is splashing around the right side of my car. Everything is caked in oil and dirt. The right rotor also has oil splashed on it, so the right brake is barely working and when I stop the car it jerks to the left since its catching a lot harder on that side than the right. I ordered a new rack and pinion, new drilled and slotted rotors and getting new brake pads tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to get all this changed out next week, along with my springs and c/c plates. I'm so lucky all this suspension and brake problems occurred while I'm in brakes and suspension class. Oh, also gonna try to find the cable I need to fix my e-brake!

I completely forgot about my build thread! Since I last updated; I changed out the rack and pinion (it was leaking everywhere and lubricating the right rotor causing the car to have a hard left pull when braking), new drilled and slotted rotors for the front (doing the back if my school ever gives me any money), new Wagner Thermo Quiet brake pads all the way around, new BBK lowering springs (we took out the bottom isos, or the top I can't remember now, I may go back and take them all out later on), and new Maximum Motosport Caster Camber Plates!

Next will be new drilled and slotted rotors for the back, I know there is no added performance but shut up. I'm also getting the windows tinted ASAP. I wanna work on swapping out the interior for termi stuff (seats, center console, etc), but I have a feeling a new motor will come first. Definitely going with a stock, low miles PI engine. Mine has two million miles, smoking like a freight train and using a quart of oil a week (NOT leaking anywhere). The biggest task will definitely be getting the car repainted. I believe the guy before me, or possibley before him, had a Macco spray to make it look nice enough to sell because since I've had the car the paint has literally just flaked away. On top of that I also need a new hood, front bumper and right fender. It sounds like a ton of work, but the car has had 15 owners, I wanna be the one to finally make something out of it!

I know I haven't done a ton, but it's always a waiting game with me. Waiting for money, waiting to start a class to be able to do the work, waiting for this, waiting for that... I'm in no rush though, this is going to be my badass daily driver and I don't plan on selling it.

Thanks! I love them on my car, but I'm gonna swap them for a set of brushed 03/04 cobra wheels one day. I like the fact that you don't hardly ever see the GT4's though, I just can't afford the tires I want for 18in wheels.
