I didn't say anything about the first to do this. Did I?

I don't think it matters what year you joined the forums. Many people contribute, it seems narrow minded to think your better cause you joined first. There are members that joined 5 or 6 years ago that are idiots too. Good day sir!

New badges in place. Loving them but wishing the old ones had come off before they messed up the paint a bit. Can barely notice it after some work with the DA and the new badges grabbing your attention. You'd really have to look for it to notice.

Last time I ever buy cheap gauges.

Back when I had my Excursion I remember a number of guys running glowshift gauges and being fairly happy with them, appears that when you mix them with the shitty electrics of an SN-95 you get a recipe for uselessness. Just got down topping off the A/C tonight and I've known that the gauge was off but decided to check to see just how badly.

This is parking lights on, 1000rpm idle (block of wood wedged under brake pedal), stereo off, a/c on max, fan on high. Car had been idling for approximately 10 minutes maximum at this point in a garage that's 95 degrees.

262 degrees

now this is my infrared thermometer pointed straight at the block at the base of the distributor

One of these things is not like the other.

Car looks great! Did you purchase rack offset bushings while you were at it? They seemed to help a lot once the cars lowered. But anyways good choice with buying a new rack, i tried to rebuild mine and it was nothing but a headache, the rebuild kit was poorly made and nothing fit right. Ended up buying a reman rack instead.

Well while doing the rack install found a torn balljoint boot. That turned into me pulling the isolators off the springs. New pics this weekend once the balljoints get back in. Should be a little lower than before even

Well wrapped up a simple power steering rack replacement with new ball joints and tie rods and pulled the isolators off of the H&R supersports while i was in there. Finally very happy with the car's ride height. Going to drive it a bit and then check to make sure the side skirts are sitting level as the rear looks just a bit higher than the front now.

Well slight update to this thread. Wife is due with our first child in the next month so not much has reallly taken place with the car. Just keeping it up and running honestly. With all the money going into the baby stuff and a computer rebuilt this is the only mod I've done since the last post.
