Well since the sale of the car has drawn very little interest (probably due to the asking price honestly) I've been toying with the idea of dipping the car in a different color. Currently debating either Aluminum metallic or matte white pearl. Both would see the current wheels re-done in gloss anthracite metallic as well. Still not sure what I'll do about the badging, fender stripes will be removed and the hood vents will probably be freshly re-dipped in matte black dip.

Sucks that nobodys biting on it, but maybe its a sign it wants to stay lol. The white dip would look cool, but the aluminum metallic is different and I've never seen anyone do that on a Mustang. The aluminum dip and the anthracrite wheels would look nasty.

I watched Dipyourcar.com do a new GTI in the new aluminum metallic and it looked pretty good on the curves and corners. With all the creases and curves in the SN body lines I really think that it would show off a matte metallic very well.

Did you notice any any change to your under-hood temps after you installed the heat extractor on the hood? I've been considering it but wondered how effective it was. Reading ReplicaR's posts on it, I think his thoughts on it were "meh." Just wondering what you thought?

So far I'd have to agree with his sentiments. Although I sometimes question the effectiveness of my ebay radiator and my un-wrapped longtube headers. Both conspire to keep this car running awfully hot. I can't imagine it does any harm though. Honestly I did the most as much for the look as I did for the functionality. I just liked the fact that it was a little of both.

Yah you'd have to get some stainless steel or well painted mesh - I wouldn't run it open. Have you noticed anything like additional water directed at your windshield during rain or anything like that coming out of the vent? I would imagine not as the water would have to basically get through the space between your radiator and accessories but I thought I'd ask.
