my main gripe was some kid gets into cars, and asks a simple question.
4 outta 5 pages all you hear is get a v8.
Kids get a v6 and love it, then someone has to come along and hate, next thing you know, here he is spending every dime, just trying to get some respect.
My 09 V6 was not my first mustang, just my first OFF THE LOT car.
I loved that 4.0.
I was MADLY in love with the s197 styling.
It handled pretty good.
Plenty of around town pep.
And was a blast to drive the nurnburg ring in.
I just sold it due to lack of potential.
I had it crowning the 13 mark on just bolt ons and street tires. But I moved on to having a better platform to start on.
I only want about 300HP outta my 4.6, far less than most want.
But not a day goes by that I don't miss firing up my v6 with my push start
I guess that was my thing....just cause it doesn't go as fast, doesn't mean it isn't a good car.
And no it's not a chick car either.
And an auto doesn't hurt it either.
An auto will always shift faster. lol
