Time for computer to learn pi intake?

How long should it take for my computer learn the new settings for my pi intake manifold. It runs alright under slight acceleration but when getting on it will bog a little and take a while to act. Anyone know?

I think every car is different but when I put my PI motor on the old puter it took like 100 miles I guess. Im not real sure if the bogging is because of the swap though. Usually its the idle and surging thats the problem. How long has it been?

Took me a few days, i didn't drive it alot though...maybe 15 miles a day.
