Well i know i told you i was going to send them to you and have you do them but i decided to do them my self.


I got my tails out and i went to my auto parts store and picked up a can of VHT.


there was a couple diffrente kinds and i asked the kid that worked there and he didn't have a idea what i should use so i bought



"VHT VERY HIGH TEMPERATUre FLAME PROOF"

I guess its made for headers, thats the only stuff that they had, if you want ill take a pic of it and show you, but i wanted to ask you just incase, the kid said vht is vht. so i bought it its a 11oz can. thanks man let me know asap!

as far as i know VHT is the brand (I remember using VHT caliper paint when I was a ricer) I havent seen the "Niteshades" in any Autopart store here in years

The kids a dumbass! The can you need is called VHT Niteshades, and specifically says what it is for. Ya VHT is VHT, but there's a VHT for headers, and engine parts, that is sort of a flat black-ish color. You need to take what you got back and get the Niteshades. Good luck man!

That's what i thought man lol. cause i sprayed it and it looked weird. i didn't see it at the parts store Gonna have to order it on ebay or something.

Ya it's usually always sold out around here, so I call and ask if they have a can first. If they don't have it in stock you may have to just order it offline. The only place around here that has it is O'Reilly Autoparts.

You can get it at Hobby Shops around here, don't ask me why though.

I just got a can and we sprayed all of the emblems on my buddies Black F250~ Kinda looks like black chrome now
