Tranny Swap Progress Thread

I am going from the T45 / Spec 4 set up in my car to a T56 / Spec 3 + set up......

I located a T56 local that I am picking up Labor Day....

Then I ordered the 26 spline input shaft and shims..

Spec Stage 3 + Clutch kit

Mcleod throw out bearing retainer



Everything above has already been ordered...

Now I need to buy an 03 Cobra drive shaft... new ujoint from summit racing to mate the 03 DS to my rear end....and a dallas motorsports speed cal so my speedo wont read 160 while going 40...

I'll snap pictures of parts as they come in.. and install hopefully.

Ended up not finding a used driveshaft...

I ordered a new 03 Cobra driveshaft... ended up costing $300 shipped.

I had to order a new ujoint for it to mate up to my rear end. (ibthejokes) (pictured below)

The mcleod throw out bearing retainer came in this week.... as did the new spec 3+.

The 26 spline input shaft and shims should be in tomorrow... and picking up my tranny tomorrow.

Car SHOULD be up and running before next weekend...but we'll see.
