2 tenths doesn't mean a thing. that could be caused by a million variables at the strip. unless the car is dynoed, pulleys swapped, and run again, I won't be convinced that this mod is worthwhile.

try and sell them to someone else to get your money back. short of cai and exhaust I don't buy into the bolt on craze for mostly stock motors.

I also seem to recall something of some udp having a "piggyback" crank pulley. I'll try and find the article detailing what brands do this and why it's not preferable.

Pullies are like the icing on the cake, when your pushing some heavy N/A mods like cams, heads, tune on top of pullies. You'll get a benefit out of them, and piggyback pullies FTL.

I had MAC pulleys on my 94 Cobra weekend warrior for over 10 years with no problems at all. Three months ago I switched over to March and Wazee polished pulleys for some bling. I personally don't feel like you get anything out of these pulleys that you can feel. My advice would be that if you want some bling, switch them out. If you want some horsepower....save the money, time, and energy you would have put into these. Take the money, put it in an envelope that says "supercharger" and put it under your mattress. Every day you come home, put another two bucks in it.

If you want try them out, my only advice is keep your stockers if case they do not work out for you. They are easy enough to swap out, just didn't work fer me.

Pulleys, CAI, and exhaust is like the 1st mod you do. That's 'pushrod 101'. Yes, if you have 8 thousand pounds of stereo equipment, probably not good. They do not make your car overheat but if you put a big load on your charging system at idle, voltage goes down, current goes up, and you start putting a strain on stuff. But as soon as you rev above 1500 all is back to normal. Your thermostat is a huge restriction for flow, ever look at one when open? The have a 2" diameter, and the water gets passed through a 1/4" orifice.

The Fox guys run pulleys with their shitty 75-85 amp alternators, you can do it with the 130s. Just sayin'. I kept my stockers just in case, maybe I should sell them. I think you guys that are against them have to have been having other issues. Lights dimming at idle is the only thing I've seen, but how long are you in idle?
