Today I got my VMP 3" housing, HPX slot style MAF, and connector for existing MAF. Starting to mock everything up:

Still just have to cut the throttle body pipe appropriately, mock up my IAC line to the throttle body pipe, and relocate my boost reading line for the meth. Other than that, just need fresh powder coating on the pipes

jason it is a 3" housing...same exact size as my other piping...

Honestly I think it looks absolutely sick

Heres everything completely mocked up. Just need the bung welded for the IAC line, and re-powdercoating:

The only thing that will be different in the final product is I'll mount the MAF on the side of the piping instead of on top

I had meth tune setup with dez for march 24th but cancelled because of the conversion. Probably in a week or two, I'm gonna call mike this week.

Thanks guys. Realistically I'm expecting 40 to 50 hp gain on meth...but from the research ive done that seems to possibly even be on the low end. If I can push 570 out through this auto I'd be a happy camper

Looks excellent Mike! I do kinda agree with Jason, I probably would have just bought the flange from VMP and had it welded onto your discharge pipe since you said you are gonna have it re-powdercoated anyway...thats what I plan on doing. Regardless, it looks great, I can't wait to see the new numbers!!

Thanks Mike. I was initially going to go that route but where I wanted to mount it I already had couplers and junk so it was a whole lot easier just buying the housing. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated!
