a few of you guys know i got a 00 gt.

i posted pics when i got it. changed a few things since then.

ford motor sport 3.73's kevlar posi trac kit, mac diff guard,
magnaflow cat back, mufflers replaced with flow masters, and a beat to **** off road x pipe,
k&n cold air kit american muscle strut tower brace, tinted tail lights, spoiler moved back.

i just bought a pair of mach 1's on nitto nt555r drag radials, and picking up a pair for the front this weekend...

racing it tomarrow, took it to the track with my tall and heavy 18's, ran a 14.5... which is not good at all,
everyone seems to think ill brake 13's on drag radials.

anyways, the pic whoring.

so my car has 92,xxx miles fully synthetic oil, some good spark plugs and its good to goooo
yours being an auto "should" make it a little easier to go down the track.
only one way to find out... go to the track and race it

no offense taken, thats my cousin, and does look quite goofy in these pictures. as for being naked, no.

um, idk why we all drive mustangs lol, just a good car?

and by high mileage, i mean my odo is about to kit 180k... obviously not that many miles cause of the gears.. but you get the point.

im supposed to take it to the track tonight...

and im from texas... in new braunfels between san antonio and austin.

Definitely a good looking group of cars. As for running 13s i have my doubts unless you have a stall and shift kit or something of that nature.

well, like i said, the 18s are very tall 275/ 45/ 18s, and weigh ALOT. so with the 18s on it, it knocked the gear ratio down to lower then stock... so with a smaller, lighter wheel, i should be low 14s, and with the drag radial... 13s?

i like owning people with the 17's on d/r's, but with the 18's, i get waaaay better gas mileage, and imo, looks alot better.

also, just read my first post.. iran a 14.5.. not a 14.7, ill fix that.

also didnt brake 13s, which is highly dissapointing. best run was a 14.3, but it was pretty chilly tonight, and not very many people racing... so it was a cold track... i think it would run better if it was hotter/ stickier.

Yeah I see where you're coming from but with a stock automatic you're not really putting the DRs to good use, and for the record the colder it is the faster the car will run.

My buddy had a 5 spd GT with 4.10s and he ran consistent 13.7s and some 13.5s, and he was launching the SHT out of it. That's why I guessed you wouldn't break 13's.
