you might twist the framework doing this. im pretty sure the motor and cylinders can handle it tho.

whats wrong with the hydrolics? i have a set of cylinders and a motor for our tops in my garage in my parts box. wanna make a deal?

It won't go up or down if your E-brake sensor isn't tripped. Even if you e-brake is on and the light on the dash isn't on it won't go up or down. Just a thought unless it's your motor.

thats a good point aswell...

and if i rememeber correctly from last winters top change. there are 2 relays next to the motor under the boot. one of them could have gone out. just tryin to think of ideas.
