its your boy

mr tits legit himself with a new build thread.

this is in conjunction with lwarrior1016 since he is basically a god and is the one with all the pics.

as some of you know an engine build for the Mare has been a little topic of conversation since day 1 here and now that the ball has gained some momentum. My buddy Will is the chief engineer (see what I did there?) for this build so for any technical questions feel free to ask him.

so what can you expect from this? Well you can expect the engine to weight a lot less than what most engines are since I am using the 3V WAP block (80lbs and aluminum) that was used in the SMS Saleen mustangs (the guy I bought it from was an engine builder for Saleen and used these blocks). We are staying 2V and are going to have a relatively high compression ratio (12:1 to be exact). The engine should be producing near 350+RWHP with mechanical know how aided by Lwarrior1016 and 96blak54

I'm excited to see this unfold; I need to absorb all the info I can for my future build! Using the aluminum 3v block makes me curious about the 5.4 3v block.... I've got some google investigation to do. Good luck with the endeavor frank, you're in good hands with lwarrior1016

Good stuff! And I can attest. Lwarrior1016 is a great guy. I wouldn’t be where I am so far with my build if it weren’t for him.

I’ve been watching over there. Good stuff going on lol. Wish I could do what you’re doing with CF. I’m having a hard enough time with CF wrap lol.

Got it all assembled on Wednesday and installed it in my car. This way I can drive it and try to blow it up before Frank gets all the way over here to install it.

I love stealth projects, but I'd have a hard time painting an aluminum block. I'd just leave it dirty and hope nobody notices. If I wanted it pretty, I'd clean the shyte out of it and clear coat it.
