Alright guys its time to start modding. For this winter ive already done a sunpro monster tach w/ shift light. Autometer water temp, oil press, and oil temp. (work in progress).
I'm thinkin next im going to look into some intake stuff.
What upper plenum would you guys suggest for quality and best bang for the buck.

Also, I'm picking up an unlocked xcal2 in the next few days.

I was thinking trickflow as well. They are not the cheapest brand ya know lol. I'd love to get a trickflow just wondering if there is anything out there thats close in quality but cheaper.

best "bang for the buck" people tend to go with Profesional Products or BBK.
highest quality people tend to go with Accufab or Trickflow.

there are many unknown brands out there like "Dragon"

i was goign to buy one of theirs before i started my 4v.

I have heard nothing bad about BBK intake parts. only exhaust parts.

i have BBK valve covers and although im not happy with them, they are high quality, exactly what i wanted when i bought them, perfectly functioning valve covers.

I have nothing harsh to say about BBK except for their heads are not on the top of my fav. list.
I have also called them (regarding the valve covers) and their customer service was top notch! answered the phone on first ring, directed to a technician right away, no hold time, answered all my retarded questions....

Go for the BBK set up if you are looking for a budget part that goes on sale every once-in-a-while.
Go for the Acufab if you are looking to get everyone at a car show to say "ooo Accufab, those are like, $1,400,485.00!"

what are your final plans for the car? Keep in mind that the "industry leader" is Accufab...
if you want a top-dollar show car, get the accufab. because EVENTUALLY you will probably get one, but this way you dont waste your time and money on a BBK.

if you want a budget build mustang that just fun to drive and performs well, the BBK is probably perfect for you.

The worst ive heard about BBK throttle bodies is that they didnt seal all the way. This causes all sorts of problems... I dont know if they have fixed this defect (i read about that problem years ago) since then, but im sure if they sell you junk, they will refund your money as they are a fairly reputable manufacturereer.

you have to give props to those who use PP and have a good performing car... you *KNOW* they had to shab-ricate the hell out their PP parts to get them to function properly. lol.

Ummm just a lil fore-warning but that 78mm TB/Elbow is a little overkill for N/A PI or NPI engines....

Unless you have forced induction the 78mm throttle body and plenum mite
be overkill. You will probably loss low end torque on N/A set up's.
