Went out first round because I took a Rip Van Winkle length nap at the tree.

But . . . at least the car was consistent . .

9.86 @ 135
9.82 @ 134
9.84 @ 135

Couldn't really get a decent 60 foot. I had a 1.35 and two 1.38s

I really wish they hadn't outlawed spray in my class. :knuppel2:

Now, if I could get the IDIOT DRIVER to be consistent on the DAMNED TREE . . . lol

my lights were -.058, .015, and then a whopping .170!!

worst light I can remember EVER in an elimination round.

Actually, I had this book I've been meaning to finish . . I had like 38 pages left . . . I guess I picked the wrong time to finish it.

I swear to God I think I heard someone honking at me to get my stupid ass moving. :nonono:

I wouldn't worry too much about. Not many (if any) of us can say we've crossed the traps in 9 sec :coolsmiley:

Well . . . I was thinking about making a nitrous pass and going 8s . . . but I was out of fuel and had already paid track proces for 10 gallons of methanol (about twice what I get it for in a drum). Plus, there was no one there to video it and I REALLY want video of the first 8 second run. (you guys would lynch me if I didn't get video).

Thanks, guys. My "video crew" stayed home today. It was an early gate and they didn't want to get up. On the other hand, I was on time for the first time ever . . lol.

no giggle gas?

Nope. Not today. I was pissed about going out first round, didn't want to pay $6.00 a gallon for Methanol, and I'm still worried about the 2-3 flare in the tranny. Besides, I had my stock decklid on . . . license plate and all . . . lol

Those are some great numbers, your car is very consistant and consistency wins. That is when you don't light your stogie at the starting line.

It wasn't lighting the stogie that did it. It was finishing the stogie, having a brandy, and reading the Grapes of Wrath. :nonono:

I would have thought War and Peace. That will put anybody to sleep.

But on a side note: You should be proud of those numbers. You have worked very hard to get where you are. I give you 2 thumbs up :thumb: :thumb: eventhough you fell asleep at the tree.

Thanks, Matt. I appreciate it. And, you're right. It was a helluva lot of work. 9s the old school way . . cubes, compression, and chassis tuning.

But . . . and I knew this would happen . . . 9s seem slow, now. I mean "get out and walk" slow. So, there's more work to do. Time to step it up. :boink:
