Dad and me are returning everything and re-doing it all? He got all pms'y and said. The stroker kit for your block is the same price why dont we just go with the 342??? it was something like that.
Dad kindof explained it to me like this
It's a stroker without the bore change??? Like a 331 without the bore?? i dunno...
I wont do enything if it sounds funny....
But now im pissed... gota change the cam and heads and pistons...
Should i got forged? for the stroker? or will flattop work?
I gues we will easily make 350+ now... seeing as dad wants to go stronger

a 342 is a stroked 302 with a stoke bore. If it was bored out also (which you need to do when rebuilding a block most of the time) it would be a 347.

Going forged isnt a bad idea. The block will be the weakest link still (500hp) if it is still a stock block which i assume it is. Flatop pistons raise the compression of the motor, where as dished pistons will lower it

Well, its bored 30 over already.. *306*
we planned on just building a strong decent 306 making about 350 Hp n/a easy with heads and cam and bolt ons..

But dad has an offer for this engine kit for the same price... So dad was like... Why not just get it instead?

Yea... the small crap is going to get me i can see it now...
Everyone has something diffrent to say... and it pisses me off
But im sticking to what I WANT

a mustang that will go form 0-100 in No time
Quick, not fast...
i have no desire to go over 100mph around here...
just dumb
and REAl racing is from a dig
so it'll be a 1/8th or a 1/4 car for sure

I DEFINETLY think i can push 350 with this stroker idea tho... even with stock bore.
Remember im using a automatic to..
So if i make 400 to the crank ill only be pushing 320
although wee are going to get a good tranny to dont worry

The small crap is a bitch... thats part of what is keeping me from going turbo all the small shit is spendy lol

Id like a stroker but the motor was supposedly rebuilt shortly before i bought it. I am going to take it apart this spring to check it all out. Actually i really want a 351w stroker but that isnt going to happen soon. The reason i am thinking of going with nitrous is it will have no driveability issues, cheaper than power adder/stroker so i can do it immediately (waiting till spring most likely cuz it is too fucking cold out right now lol) and it is stealthy (you cant hear it like a turbo/supercharger. Plus i think an instant 125 (150 if i get brave) shot in the ass will be fun

Definetly....That would be awesome! lol... i just thought it was funny because i was wanting to do a sleeper but i was like

HOW IN THE HEK DO YOU HIDE a Ford engine?
Especialy one with a cam haha..
it would be hard to hide a Built 302 with a stock cam... Very hard..

you can still "hide" the stroker no problem though. if you do get a cam then just say its a cammed 302. no one will know what is really inside

i just wanna be able to take down all the f-body lovers here..
we dont got to many strong stangs but we got a few... rest of them are just punks with wheels and exhaust like me right now... but we are changing that

there isnt too many "heavy hitters" of any kind in my small town so with a 125 shot i will pretty much take down anything around. Most of the really nice cars around are queens and never leave the garage anyways.

My friend just put a 347 stroker with the Trick Flow Stage 1 kit into his car.... Alll I can say is holy shit. Its fun. But yeah, I would also suggest the Forged Route. BUT many people on here say that its not worth sticking forged internals in a stock block because its not worth it. I think our hyper-pathetic pistons can handle the beating up to a point.

Forged pistons, hell yes.

Forged rods....yeah maybe.

Forged crank....no.

Again, what is the point of putting a bottom end capable of handling 800+hp in a block that can BARELY handle half that? I know I feel dumb for doing it...

Well, we got buddies with the people down there.

And they hooked us up with soo much better stuff..

Brand's of my new engine kit =
Eagle and SRP
better than that other crap..
Btw we got the H-beam connecting rods which made me feel better
But these pistons look Clean cut and dont look cruddy like the other ones did..
im so happy now..
and me and dad decided to just switch the B303 for the e303

NOW...
FOR THE SMART PEOPLE
PLEASE lay down your opinions and tell me about the e303
I think it will be good to... and its probly better for my automatic
b/c the b303 was only good for the 5 speed
