sweeet man... freakin beautiful (for the most part) looks like mine, (sort of). but i would ditch the silver "MUSTANG GT" inserts on the bumper (tacky imo). mudflaps gotta go. U def need some window tint, now!!!!! it's begging for it. your front end looks a little high too, 4X4 style. don't feel bad, ours were like that too. i got a "deep forest green" one as well...best color imho. looks like your front air dam is jacked up... is it? w/ the auto, def do 4.10s. get some aftermarket head/taillights too. jus my $.02. all in all, outstanding!...welcome to the club...WARNING! though: these cars are addicting as hell. my girlfriend/savingsaccount/retirement are on the backburner cuz of my damned car...haha lol!. (not trying to sound maniacal...) get w/ me for your mods man, i've been there, done that. i will help in any way i can, i mean it... let me know...

ive had the thought of dropping in a 96-01 cobra motor, so i can achieve my goal of 600rwhp, what all would be required if i did this swap?

u shouldnt shoot for horsepower goals, and possibly shoot for track times, no1 likes dyno queens :dancing6:. but congrats, i say dont get into the 2v to 4v swap, and just build your motor(couldnt tell u y bsides its more logical) u need to use some kind of forced induction though ...

ok first off..... you would be on some heavy drugs not to do a 4v swap, logical is all this swap is.... i did it to my car and its a lot better power wise and everything, its basically a drop in swap.

my car use to be dark satin green also, it was nice but i want a different color so i primered it.

idk about you but i put a 97 4v in my car and put down 330 to the tires with bolt ons, that was without the gas
most 2v strain to get 300 rwhp

im putting a stand alone on the car now, and pulling motor out to build it.

about the time part of that, with a 2.2 sixty foot and spinning i still ran a 12.5 and that was before i did all the suspension mods... havent had a chance to get back to the track

btw that was with 3.73's in the rear..... we all know that 410 or 430's are what the 4v needs, so take that into consideration on the low time part and is the swap logical

wow, didnt wanna make this into a pissing contest over whether or not a 4v is better then a 2v, but when you start putting cost out there, the 2v(seeing as its already there) would be the better route to go imo and im sure in others aswell. u can achieve high horsepower with either motor, but if you are planning on forced induction im 99% sure the stock internalsmax out at about the same numbers. seeing as money im sure is an issue(is it ever not) just do the 2v, put the money you would spend on a motor swap into a s/c and put down higher numbers, then do some boltons, and the pi parts, and put down more for as much as you would spend on a 4v and boltons...

o0o and im pretty sure u can use the stock gt computer, will definately want to do some tuning after the swap.

I swear I'm gonna put it in my sig, I put down 500 rwhp, and I wish I would have just swapped in a 4v. Not that you can't have fun with a 2v, but long term, big power, it's not cost effective.
