What all can under-drive a motor?

well things do go bad over time. when i first started installing that CD6 headunit, everything worked fine. after driving around for a few days, the problems started. maybe yours just went bad over time?

what kind of head unit is it?

Pioneer maybe?

It does shut off sometimes *the screen but everything else keeps playing*
but the car still does this EVEN when the radio is off so it's not the radio

even with the radio off, it still draws power from the battery. i would suggest, if its not too hard, to just unplug the headunit and drive around, see if it does the same thing. if it does continue doing it, you can 100% rule out the headunit as being the culprit
