What are these heads worth?

Looking to buy a set of heads and I have been offered theses Edelbrock 6025 heads. Trying to determine their value.

Youre missing a digit I think, looking up 6025 doesnt bring up anything. Im not really a sbf guy but those heads look rough. I wouldnt pay more than $1k for them and that depends on the springs and specs.

60255 is the number. Those are very basic aluminum heads. 170c heads. They’re ok for a small cubic inch build with a mild cam. As 07Gt states though they really look rough.

Honestly I’d be having a machine shop clean em up and tested before I bought em. If seller is honest and wants to move em id discuss that with him.

$800 would be max as they look abused

I've never paid more than $500 for a complete set of "used" heads. I've never bought used aftermarket aluminum heads either. Be very careful and have them inspected first (as mentioned above), the seller should not have a problem with this if you pay any inspection cost.

Last time I bought used heads I had the seller pay for the inspection. If heads came back bad it was his problem. Heads came back good and I paid the cost of the inspection along with the cost of the heads.

That’s how it should always be done.
