i am sick of my red top not fitting in the stock tray (thanks Summit). What battery do you guys use that fits in the stock tray? I was going to relocate to the trunk but have decided against it.

If anyone wants to swap a relocation kit for a battery tray straight up (you pay shipping) let me know.

Thanks,
Matt

My red top fits fine in my stock tray. I've heard of guys getting a smaller version of the red top that doesn't fit well. Not sure why they are getting them but I'm on my second red top and absolutely no problems with it fitting. Maybe someone's not selling you the correct red top...

The first one wouldn't hold a charge after a couple years. (Took it from extreme desert temps to major cold winter temps) Took it back and got a free replacement. No problems after a few years with the next one. Sometimes you just get a bad one.

I recently had my Optima Redtop Go bad. After 4 Years what can you expect. I think a cell went bad. Anyways, i replaced it with another Optima Redtop. I was going to replace it with a DieHard Platinum after reading this new Diehard Kicks the Optima pretty hard. I then found out DieHard does not yet make the size for the mustang.
