Yes, Modern Driveline.

I ran the McCleod externatl slave once about a decade ago and it was awful. Was like $500 down the tubes.

MDL's kit has a Wilwood master and a Tilton hydraulic release bearing, all feels like quality. But their mechanical linkage for the pedal box is a stout piece. Converts the action from pull to push in kind of a clever way. I can't wait to finish install tomorrow!

That driveshaft has some scoring of its own, maybe from a loose parking break cable. I know those springy metal cable clamps are only held on by a single rivet and eventually they break free and the cables droop... along with the springy metal thingy.
I noticed that too but didn't take a closer look at the time, I much appreciate the feedback! I'll have to crawl under the car again.

I did a thing!

Had a little time to spend going forward with the new hydraulic clutch setup for this SN95. Almost there.

Cut and welded up a nice reinforced captive nut plate to go on the backside of the lower cowling so that the reservoir could securely mount (and dismount whenever it might be needed), undercoated it and JB welded it to the OEM plastic after I took these pics.

Installation was soooo much easier with the seat, pedal box, and steering wheel removed. Just need to add a hose from reservoir to the master and assemble the very nice mechanical linkage to the OEM pedal box (pics forthcoming on that probably tomorrow).
That steering wheel and seat combo looks fire!

Now that the autumn is with us the rain is heavier so spent some time sucking the water out the rear carpet as becomes a monthly feature from now until late March.

Of course it then hissed it down again a few hours later ffs, but I guess it's good to get up what you can when you can...

How come you're swapping from long tubes to shorty?
I personally don't like them
There mostly a pain when you want to remove an engine transmission or work on certain parts of the car
To me there is no real performance there
I have had long tube before
And shortys
Just saying it's me I want to make life easier for myself
And not fighting it

So here's the mechanical linkage for the new hydraulic clutch setup. Was a hella easy install with the pedal box on the workbench. Almost too easy. Hmmmm.

Unofrtunately my chosen place to mount the reservoir is very close to the master cylinder, so I need to place a 90* elbow on the bottom of the rez so that I can bend/flare up a U-shaped hardline to connect the two. I tried every type of adapter and bend shape to mate the two but always came up snake eyes. So I have to wait prolly a couple weeks for that piece to come in, then I can finish the whole hydraulic clutch system.

The 95 Mustang had to take a backseat per say to the Bullitt today. Winter hit early so i have a full tank of 91 Octane so i started her up and added the proper amount of stabilizer. Maybe not needed but i plumbed in a direct connect harness so i can plug in the battery smart charger while having the car cover in place. For warranty i need to change the oil by 21 Nov. Ford oil and filter on hand. Car has 4,419.19 km on the odometer.

Are you using the modern drivelines kit? I had a McLeod hydraulic clutch in my last 00 gt. It was ok, a little fabricobbled for 600 bucks though.
Hopefully it’s the modern driveline kit . They make great stuff . My fave short throw shifter I’ve ever ran

Was wondering if they made a shifter for the Magnum but I'm gonna give the STX shorty a try.

I spent just about the whole day getting Modern Driveline's sexy hydraulic clutch adapter kit to play nice with the Coyote gas pedal. The pedal was touching up against the main bracket and the connector couldn't even slip on it...

So I had to do some cutting and welding. Had to first buttress the bracket itself because such a large amount of material had to be deleted from it. Fully boxed it so that I wouldn't warp at any point. After deburring, made sure it was protected with some Zinc spray. Also had to web up the firewall pedal-stop bracket. Now all is good - the Coyote gas pedal has connection, there's no slop anywhere in the clutch action, and the action is butter smooth. One down, more to follow...
