What wheels are you using? Curious on doing the mod, but with my 17's (two sets) not sure if I want to invest in new wheel/tire combo's too.

oilspil, thanks. May just try and see if I have clearance. I'm sure I can sell them if it doesn't work out. I hear the issue with 17's is the back spoke area but some Cobra wheels fit. Gonna' bite the bullet and give 'em a try.

Curious how your brake feel/application is after the change. I'll be going from Cobra to the ATS.

Replaced the a/c system in the 07, with the help of my 6 year old.

Dimpled the tops of the IRS toe link tapered studs so I could press them out with a two-jaw puller AKA the Pitman Arm Puller. I'm the middle of doing a bumpsteer alignment.

Never smack the top of the tapered stud with a hammer, you'll mushroom the threads. And don't put a nut on the threads and hammer it thinking you're going to save the threads, either. This is the only way to do it. Now, spindles typically have 'flats' on them to strike a hammer on in hopes of getting the tapered stud to dislodge just from shock only (you can see this from one of the pictures). If this happens for you, great. If not, the puller tool is the only way.

Installed the Dynavin D8 radio in the s197. This thing is fantastic! GPS antenna for navigation And it links up to the phone. If you tether, it will do screen mirroring. I love how factory it looks too.

I’m surprised your gtcs doesn’t have leather and seat warmers. I thought they came pretty well equipped.

Put some rod end boots on the IRS toe links to seal them from dirt and road grime. Lubed up the tapered shanks with anti seize so they detach easier if needed.
