i just put H&R ss on mine last weekend. Im running with no iso's and it sits perfect and the ride is great. I would say it lowered it about 1 3/4 inch, and thats before its fully settled

Isolators. Go in between springs and mount. Think they're basically there for keeping them quiet, but I could be wrong. Lots of people remove them to tune in the look they want.

I did not put anything around the top or bottom of the springs because i have always had awesome luck with H&Rs. I will tell you that i just checked to see if it has dropped any since the install and it is sitting very very low now. Im running a 17" rim with 315's in the back with no rubbing but i would becareful with an 18" rim running no isos
