That's pretty weird. My old 94 GT was $25k. Found some paperwork that said it in the glovebox and I also talked to the previous owner who was the original owner and she confirmed the price as well. Maybe she got ripped off? Car was fully loaded though.

That is a shafting then since the 94/95 Cobras did sell for around $25k brand new which was a LOT back then for a sports car. They were a bazillion times better than the GT though especially back THEN before the aftermarket for the 5.0 had really taken off. Those GT40s were worth their weight in Gold/Snake Venom in 1993/4/5.

so you must have added the SVT badge to your trunk lid then huh, maybe that's what threw me back in the day.

Just gander at the factory side skirts next time. Straight in the front means its a 94, the side skirts that flow up in front are 95s. Also the functional rear brake vents are not present on all 95s. Iirc Ford did start doing svt badges in later 94s as well as now if they only would have done the 96/98 hoods and bumpers for 94/95 and carried the 94/95 decklid and wing forward to 96-up. Stupid wiener designers...

Yeah I really just never gave it much thought, just assumed. Not all 94's had the straight front side skirt but I've never heard of a '94 Cobra coming with an SVT badge.
