Hi, I am looking to buy a tuner for my 5.0 but I cant seem to find the one that would be the right one for me.
My 5.0 has edlelbrock heads GT-40 intake 30 lbs injectors vortex S-Trim 10 psi and a AODE Steeda did the work on the car 480 hp.
[http://freerevs.com/car/264453#main] Here is a link to my car it has a stock bottom end but I have another motor 42 lbs injectors 20 lbs boost vortex R-Trim TFS heads tremic TKO 600 GT-40 intake 600 hp.
I want to swap them out but what Tuner do I buy? AEM ?
where can i look for different kinds of replacement computers or tuners I know they can get pretty expensive.
Someone please point me in the right direction! :dontknow: :confused1:

if you want to replace the entire computer then these are the two i would only look into. i have used them all and these are the two that have the most support and the most people that know how to tune them

out of these two i prefer the aem for number reasons but the one that might make the most sense to you is that you can just plug it in and not have to change anything else. with the fast you need to change the harness and swap out the ford sensors for gm units

There is no 'tuner' for the stock computer, that is only 96 up cars with OBD2. You would need a chip and a custom tune which you will need anyway. I would go with an sct or a moates if you want to do it yourself. Everything else is going to be a lot of money.
