Very first swap was a vw 1600 to 1776.
Second was 93 coupe 5.0 to 351 Windsor.
Third was 91 GT 5.0 to 393 Windsor.

SBF in my 77 Celica GT. Never finished it though and scrapped the car.

Built my 22R into a hybrid, hi-compression, big valve, carb and cam 4 banger...Which is now in my truck

my first ford, an 85 cougar, smoking 3.8L that we swapped in a thunderbird 302, i blew it up, we swapped in a 1966 289, over reved it and had a wrist pin knock, swapped in a 351W, and it kept eating c4's

All aluminum engine that has a plastic intake manifold, is internally balanced, and makes 350hp+ stock at the very minimum depending on which engine you get. And it's backed by a T56 with hydraulic throwout bearing. Sounds like a good thing to me. I gotta get the weight off the front of this car somehow

My first engine was a 289 in my 1966 Mustang back in 1986. Did such a good job I did it again less than a month later. First time was practice, second time was for real.

Just swapped in a new PI motor into my 98 GT a couple of months back after the stock NPI motor took a crap. It was honestly a good experience, as I now feel much more confident in my ability to take out and build a motor in a future Mustang if I ever go that route. It wasn't nearly as hard or complicated as I thought. Heck, if I would have known it was that easy, I would have swapped in a PI motor years ago.

My first motor swap was at 10 yrs old (no bullshit), my stepdad did mechanic work on the side and was hell bent on my brother and I learning it if we were going to own vehicles.

He took on a project for a lady that worked for the church behind our house. The lady had one of those land yacht buick lesabres and the v6 in it was blown and she wanted the car repaired and running again. She bought a olds 88 (another land yacht), thinking the motor was the same but it turned out it had a 350 rocket in it, to pull the motor out and put it in the lesabre. Needless to stay, my stepdad was better at barking orders than actually working lol so my brother and I learned how to do the swap.

From then on every vehicle I have owned I have done some sort of engine work to it. They ranged from hondas to subarus to fbodies to now my mustang.
