By doing a few things to the 4-valve and making the power all through the power band compared to other cars....it is just non-comparable.

whats the diffrence on the body?well theres no difference on the gt,now the cobra the rear spoiler,hood,rear bumper and of course tailghts and svt badges

I was thinking the same thing. Actually on the 94-95 the hood is the same as the GT, and the bumper just says MUSTANG. On the 96-98 the new hood was added and the bumper said COBRA.

...Too bad the Cobra R's only came with "Saddle" Interior....Who ever thought of that was just Smoking Crack!!!!....The 95 R's should have come with black.

DOHC car out the box is quicker then a 5.0 cobra car.. with bolt ons and gears and a good driver, high 12s.. need more then that in a pushrod, but you can't beat the sound of a cam'd 5.0 cobra :behind:

i never really liked the OEM Cobra Hood...i always thought the GT/V6 hood looked better * this is not because i own a GT, i have just always felt this way even since 96"
