I got my $$ back, and now Im going Megasquirt 2, cuz its within my budget, and I can use my stock wiring.

I don't know if things have changed since I ran Megasquirt, but last I remember it did not have closed loop maps. So you're always in open loop. Sure, it may be great for performance, but gas mileage and daily driveability suffer big time. Freaking Megasquirt pretty much ruined my Turbo Corrado project.

Interesting. Im gonna stay NA with this engine, prolly go 03/04 Cobra for the next drivetrain, but im gonna keep the 94 wiring with the MegaSquirt. eventually, it will have a turbo on that engine.

who cares? :dontknow:

seriously tho if your going to build a high performance motor w/ a turbo. why worry about mpg? i have no idea what i get from my 331. when its close to empty i get some more. ill try to pay attention next time im out an about tho.

In the racing world it doesnt matter how powerful the engine is... ...the fastest car is almost always the one that pits the least. Unless youre racing against a prius. You can take a nap in that tortoise-and-the-hare of a race and still win.
