i'm not waisting my time supercharging the 2v. I'm gonna build a dedicated motor for it and then supercharge it or turbo it when i put it in ya know... limit down time.

The best route is always to get a plan that meets your goals, then stick to it. :thumb:

yep, I just can't decide either a b head or a c head 4v.... i'm liking the mach 1 stuff... but i know i can get the b head stuff for less $$ and put that somewhere else that is needed.

As far as performance goes, I don't think there's enough to justify worrying about it for street purposes. Now C headed car's are newer, lower mileage stuff, but also more coin..

Yea I see a lot of mark 8 motors on ebay that are complete for like 800 bucks and runs ... but that would give me a good starting point with heads, teksid block and what not. Then just pick up a cobra intake and boom i'm in business... I also have the 98 cobra cams i believe. Now for just the mach1 heads i've seen them for almost like 800 and the intake is $$$

So i'm leaning to the b heads b/c of $$$... that money I save can go to forged rods and pistons and machine work... plus I'm gonna send the heads off to get ported and maybe a runner mod on the intake... other than that just the standard stuff and then supercharge - turbo... but i know if i want to stay n/a or nitros then i need to mess with the c head stuff. So I'll cross that bridge when i have the money and time ya know.
