wheel/tire help/advice needed

I have a friend with 20" wheels that he wants to trade for my 18's, if they fit.
I'm thinking that the tires that he has on them are what will be my problem. He's running 275/40/20's, which is a really tall tire. My question is, what size tires will I need to mount on them to keep away from fender rubbing, and speedo issues?

i dont think many people, if any, will respond to this bc we dont think 20's belong on mustangs..

they most likely shake their heads and move onto the next thread

not sure what kind of rims, but you should keep the 18s, and not trade them for something that might not fit

I suggest keeping the 18s also. Your tire is gonna be like a rubber band to fit 20s.

20s looks good on S197, but on our cars not

Well, I put them on and took a cruise with them and decided NOT to do the trade.
Those things were sooooo friggin heavy, I was amazed. They jacked my car up so high,
that I felt like I was driving a truck.
They looked pretty neat, but considering the unsprung weight and how tall it was, I decided
against it.
